Our Farm

In 2010 we decided to relocate Burton Alpacas from the Winnipeg area to Brandon, Manitoba. Our new farm is located on 142 acres with 30 acres of native bush. We are in the process of building our new farm from scratch. What a great opportunity and what a lot of work.

We are located North of the Trans Canada Highway (Highway #1), just West of Brandon, Manitoba. We are on municipal road 120W, half a mile North of Highway #1, with our new lane just being on the West side of the road. If you are in the area, give us a call or drop us an email and come by for a visit.

Our main barn is 40 feet by 100 feet with 10 foot overhangs on both sides giving our alpacas lots of space and shade. In 2011 we added over 3000 feet of fencing for our starter pastures and began to seed new pasture and hay land. Next on the priority list is to start on a new house in 2012.
